of Sports Illustrator Michael Michael Michael the 2021 NBA All-Star weekend is in the books.

I think they took the loss on the ratings to Oprah and her big interview of the Royal Family

or the former Royal Family. But let's not dwell on the negatives. Let's dig deep into all the

specifics and recap this entire night. I came up with a list of 20 questions. I imagine a few

others might surface along the way, whatever's germinating in your brain. But I wanted to start

at the beginning of the night because of course they put together all those All-Star Saturday events

with the All-Star game on Sunday into one giant mega night of basketball. I was just curious,

what did you think of it? Let's start at the beginning with the skills challenge.

I think it was a huge challenge. Not exactly racing into six gear with that event. I got to be

honest. Luca D'Auchich kind of jogging. Domonna Sabonis winds up beating Nicolas Vicci and a big man

showdown in the final round of that thing. Are we at the point where they just need to change the

skills challenge format? Shake it up. Do something else different because having that be the first course

for All-Star Sunday night just to me it was not quite enough excitement out of the gate. What do you think?
