Summary
Unfortunately, this episode focuses on Jax. We witness his first haircut, botox session, and boyz noight out after being released from treatment, all while lamenting about not yet seeing his son despite not contacting the mother of his child. A party for Zach's boyfriend Benji provides an opportunity for Jax to reintroduce himself to the group and massage the narrative that he's doing great, never had a problem with drinking or drugs, and is instead focusing on an anger problem. Zach's lack of respect or reverence for Jax is a highlight and fun to watch after all the cowering and deference from every other man on the show. Danny and Nia continue to battle criticism about Darkside Danny from Janet and Jason, Luke's relationship with Danny stays strong as they plot the upcoming Hawaii proposal trip, and Michelle reveals that Jesse is preventing their daughter from seeing her terminally ill mother. BONUS: An impassioned plea to Alex Baskin

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the high and low podcast. This is your host Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, Ducking, Bravo, |
| 0:08.8 | and we are about to recap The Valley. I'm behind on this, and I know that. It was a hell of a week, |
| 0:14.0 | and there was something about knowing that it was going to be an episode that was very |
| 0:17.5 | jacks heavy that made me not want to watch it. And I hope that Alex |
| 0:21.2 | Baskin hears that. And that is, of course, the producer of the Valley, used to produce Beverly |
| 0:26.5 | Hills, I think. And I believe it seems like anyway, he's been coming out saying that there is a place |
| 0:32.5 | for Jacks on the show. So completely ignoring the fact that most of the viewers and his audience, who is women, |
| 0:39.4 | and he's not a woman, are telling him, we don't want to see this man. And he's like, |
| 0:43.1 | do you though? Do you not want to? Are you sure? I posted two articles on my Patreon, |
| 0:48.4 | and they are both written in the last week from major publications about having Jacks Taylor |
| 0:53.2 | and his level of violence and dysfunction |
| 0:55.8 | on this show. Okay, I'm not ready for this, but let's just go ahead and do it. I've been avoiding |
| 0:59.7 | all the Valley News all week. Come on, here we are. Season two, episode 10, you've been served. |
| 1:05.8 | We open on a screen with a very interesting choice of font, says 12 hours later. |
| 1:11.6 | And this is, of course, alluding to the fact that they ended the last episode with Jesse |
| 1:15.0 | saying, 12 hour T minus 12 hours and counting people, to when Jacks gets out of his treatment |
| 1:21.3 | facility. Let's make it about him. Let's keep centering the show around the person that everybody |
| 1:25.1 | likes the least. We've got breathy, funky rock music while Jesse Hesse is driving his fancy car that I still don't know what it is and |
| 1:33.0 | don't care with a car seat in the back. Want to be a bowler? Shackala. If there's one thing that |
| 1:39.5 | will always cheer me up, it's making fun of Jesse. Okay, this is comical. Jack sits down in his tiny car, |
| 1:45.7 | and he knows that the camera's there, and he immediately starts handing up, can't believe I did |
| 1:49.4 | 30 days. Yeah, that was kind of amazing. Now, he's sitting here wearing a Jacks's bar hat and a |
