I'm an episode behind. I'm recapping this one while the next one is airing.

You know what? It was a crazy week. This is season six episode, I'm not sure. Ladies Who Lunch

The sequel. It's also December 2nd right now. And as of, I don't know, an hour or so, I will have

made it the entire duration of the blackout period, not buying anything online or from any of the major stores that hopefully

everybody was boycotting like Walmart if the Walton family has no haters I'm dead you know this

Walmart Target um Amazon F Amazon F Jeff Bezos all those places Didn't buy a thing and didn't buy one thing online.

You know how difficult that is? You know how many emails I got? The discounts weren't even that

good. So it wasn't really hard to say no to it. But still, I walked into one very kind of

like boutiquey department store and I've spent like less than $100 on gifts for other people, nothing for myself.

And I amused myself the whole time by watching these videos on TikTok of people who were going

into stores and they were seeing like, oh, big sale, sale, you know, all these signs everywhere like,

sale, sale, sale, but then when they lift up the price, they see that the sale price is more

expensive than the price it was.

And then all the people who, for whatever reason, I'm not judging, like people need stuff, you know what I mean? Like capitalism's having its way with us, late stage capitalism. But people did line up, you know, for the target. What, I don't even know. I don't even know because I'm out the loop, okay? I don't listen to anything about Target anymore. But I guess they were giving away swag bags. They were like reflective, metallic swag bags.

And then when you open it, it was like five little bitty things.

One of which was the nerds gummy clusters, which those are delicious.

And there's a little package of them in there.

But when you open it, there's only one. There's only one little cluster in there. It was just like the saddest swag bag in quotes ever. And so then, I mean, the comments are vicious. People are like, we told you, stay away from Target. And then other people discovered Lowe. Lowe's great company, great company compared to other companies, right? Like, the bar is low, but it's not as low at
