This pod is going to get into season five, episode six of Real Housewives of Salt

Lake City, Mafia Wives and Bad Vives.

I meant to put this pod out last night, but guess what happened to me? I started

listening to the audiobook of A Court of Thorns and Roses, not just the audiobook, but the dramatic

telling. So here's a whole thing. It's on Spotify right now, and it is, quote, unquote, included

in your premium membership, which is just if you pay for Spotify,

period.

But seasoned Spotify user has told me you only get 12 hours per month.

What kind of crap is that?

That's so ridiculous.

They don't limit you to a certain number of hours you can listen to music a month, do they?

Or have I never hit it? Either way, I'm irritated. But then someone else said, hey, yes, the traditional audio book of all A Court of Thorns and Roses is limited to 12 hours. But if you listen to the dramatic retelling, which includes like sound effects, it's like you're listening to a movie play, then that will not limit you

after a certain amount of hours. And I was like, well, let's find out. We're going to throw the dice.

So I start listening to it. The first book is five hours, which seems like I feel like it took me,

well, if we're being honest, it took me about a month to get through the first book because I was like,

yeah, yeah, all right, okay, I get it. And we're hunting and we're cold and we're poor. All right, what next? Now we meet this weird dude, okay. And this other guy, and we're in the mojo dojo house. And these dudes kind of suck. So maybe that's why. Maybe because it took me so long to get through the first book. But listening to the dramatic retelling, a few things.

One, it's extremely engaging. To me, anyway, it reminds me of like an old-timey radio show where they would do all the sound effects and people would just be riveted and listening to it every night. So it's wrote me in for sure, even though I've already read it, it comes to life in a different way. That's number one. number two, hearing them pronounce the names that I've been pronouncing wrong in my mind. Like I've been saying, pyrethian is what I've been saying in my mind. I'm switching it somehow. I don't know why because it is spelled P-R-Y-T-H-I-A-N. And that's the name of like the universe in which they're living.

Perithian. It sounds crazy to say PR-Prythian, but that's how you pronounce it, I guess.

I like mine better. I like Pyrethian better, but I accept it.

Other thing I will say, the person that they've chosen to be Fahara, I like her. I'm not saying
