I'm sitting here with a hair mask in. I've never used a hair mask before, but there's only so much you can read about it before you're like, fine, fine. I will sit here like a greased up rat. I look like the subway rat, just looking for pizza. And I learned something about myself, which is that I don't want to dip my hand into something. I don't want to do it. It felt like Crisco. It's this little tub. It's a light blue color. Everybody that does that's into hair mask, you'd recognize it if I remember the name, but I don't. It's like a little colorful flowery-looking thing on top. Anyway, unscrewed it, just tub a thing, has stick my fingers into it and then rub it through my hair and I was just yelling the whole time. Not enjoyable. I'd rather squeeze it out. The name of the hair mask is

Amika. I just remembered it with a K. A. M-I-K-A. And the name of that actual mask itself is called

The Cure. And they spell cure with a K. But ooh, I'm on one right now. I just left some very

curtly worded messages via chat for the cast and Patreon people. These platforms make a lot of promises about things they're going to offer and stuff's going to be so easy to do. And then you try to do it and it doesn't happen the way they say it's supposed to. And there's nobody to ask. It's just a bucket of crickets. Actually, you know, it's worse than a bucket of crickets because it's a little chat that's like, how can we help you? And it's AI. And you're like, you can't. There's literally nothing you can do for me. I try not to curse too much on this podcast. I mean, these ladies on the housewives, they have potty mouths. And don't we all? But I try not to because I never know if you're like driving in the car with your 10-year-old and you're playing this. And so I try to keep it above board when I can't. But man, I was cursing a storm tonight. I poor galley, because I know she uses Patreon. I left her curse riddled. I don't know what she's doing with her life tonight. But when she looks at her phone, she's going to see, I went off. There are probably three or four F bombs in one sentence of me asking her, how the F do you post something on Patreon?

Because the seamless integration that was supposed to be so hands-free didn't work.

And so anyway, I'm going to fix it.

But I appreciate you, everyone out there who's supporting me, and I'm going to figure this out.

Here's the good news.

The really good news is I was talking trash about these ads because I read the fine print.

It's like 0.001% of this and you split it with us and blah, blah.

And I was like, okay, well, I'll be lucky to make a dollar.

But I just went and checked and I made $50 because I enabled ads on my podcasts.

I just kind of sat there in all.

Like, oh, that's cool.

I could have been doing this the whole time.

It might seem silly to you that I'm excited about, essentially what's $25 per podcast

that I've enabled ads for.

But it's a big deal when it was zero. I always said, if this just paid for a little bit of my grocery bill, I'd be happy. And so that, yeah, we're going to, we're going to get there. And I always think that women should talk about money. So I will always be transparent with what is this journey, what is paying off, What is not paying off? Because I know that there are

people out there who are thinking, I would like to start a podcast. I would like to do this. I would like to do that. And when I'm telling you, I'm sitting here, I have no frame of reference. I don't know what pays what. I don't know how to do any of this. I am figuring it out. And so I will share that journey. I'm betting on myself. Because if you don't, nobody else will. But it's

been very emotional for me to see people be so supportive and so happy that I finally got the ads. I posted to my account before I drowned myself out with my TikTok thing. I posted like 120 TikToks. Like I think it was my largest drop ever, but I was just giggling. But before that, I had posted some stories saying,

like, we got the yacht, but I crossed out yacht and I put ads. We got the ads. Because I finally figured out how to switch to a platform, sign up for the ads, got some ads. And it was just such a moment. I was so happy, even if I was going to make like $1. And so many people were supportive. my heart was bursting out of my chest.
