This offseason, I just can't remember anything like this.

We're a local team that was building and getting better, and we thought might, you know, might do more and get back in the hunt for a championship or, you know, championship caliber type of roster.

Build off what you did last year. You made the playoffs after a really down year post Brady in 2020.

All right. seemingly you found your quarterback for the future. You get into the playoffs.

Granted, you got waxed by a team you can't force to punt.

But, you know, you were back to the playoffs.

You were in the conversation again during that seven-game winning streak.

People's lauding Belichick singing his praises.

They're back, real threat for the Super Bowl, blah, blah, blah.

And they've backslid since that point.

There's no question about it.

Just looking on paper, roster alone, they've gotten worse. I mean, Murray, it's like a tsunami. It's unreal, the wave of transactions that have

taken place to fortify teams in the AFC. And look, again, they're not all AFC moves,

but the number of them that have been in conference to teams that

are contenders already or have become contenders while the patriots have gotten worse is stunning

i can't ever remember anything like this honestly i'm i'm really eager to hear what felders says

when he comes back and a lot of this had started before he left.

He was off Friday, I guess, right? Yeah. So I haven't seen Mike in almost two weeks now. And, you know, and I don't bug him on when he's on vacation. He hasn't bug me for the most part unless there's something urgent that we have to talk about. He's very chatty. So, yeah. So, but look, and all I see, I'm really eager to hear what he has to say.
