So the big news, of course, the last segment, top of the hour, they have announced charges

in the Delphi murder case, gentleman by the name of Richard Allen charged with two counts

of felony murder.

Now, one thing that I did want to make clear, and look, I talked with several people in

this building about how to handle this, because when there is a mass shooting, we don't

say or I make a practice of, I don't think anybody on this, on this station makes a practice

of at least the commentators.

The news department, the straight news is a little different sometimes, but we don't

say the person's name.

And so it was kind of going back and forth and do I say this guy's name because how is

this different than that?

And ultimately, the conclusion I came to talking to multiple people here in the building

is, look, those mass shooters, they want the publicity, right?

They want the publicity, they want to be known.
