They sent vitreous fluid from the eyes to the lab for testing, and it was negative.

0:15.1

Lab results from the blood did show fentanyl, but they needed more information, including testing on gastric contents to determine

0:22.1

if other drugs were present that wasn't detected in the blood. They also wanted to get an idea

0:27.4

of where the fentanyl was coming from, whether it was orally ingested or injected. At the time

0:33.1

of autopsy, Eric did not have a history of illicit drug use or prescription drug abuse. They looked at

1:40.7

from phones or financial documents, and she said no. So I thought that was a good thing

1:45.5

to throw in there, because all that tells a much bigger story. She talked to Corey several times

1:50.6

during the course of the investigation. Corey would call the front office and staff would fill out a

1:55.5

message form for her to call Corey back. She talked to Corey on April 21st and told Corey the case was ongoing.

2:03.0
