It's Monday, May 5th, day nine in the care and read trial in the books, another tense day on cross-exam with a couple of the witnesses.

I want to give you a heads up about tomorrow. The episode is going to be out very late because my son has a ceremony for graduating the EMT program at the Career Center at his high school.

So I'm going to be going to that.

And then next Thursday again, the episode will be out late because he graduates high school.

Back on the stand was the woman yesterday who testified about the blood alcohol level for care and read,

and the defense brings up things that could impact those results like certain variables or conditions and the witness

agreed. Also, she was asked if she measured the blood alcohol levels of anybody other than

Karen Reed, no. The next witness, Ryan Nagel, he is a sister named Julie, and on January 29th of

2022, he was at CF McCarthy's with his sister Julie, a friend named Ricky, and his ex-girlfriend Heather.

They got there about eight or nine and left before midnight.

After they left McCarthy's, they were headed home, but his sister texted to pick her up from 34 Fairview.

He said he knows Brian Albert Jr. through his sister, but they're not friends, and he's never been inside the residence.
