What's good internet? Welcome to Waypoints for June 19th, 2019. Quick note, we're cheating.

This is actually an old episode of Waypoints. We're part of one, actually. Our producer

Cotto had a great idea, which was to pull the original conversation that we had about the

first two episodes of A Run Galeon, which is a conversation we had back in November when

the Netflix deal was first announced, the Netflix A Run Galeon release was first announced.

And since that's happening in like a day or two, I forget which, we felt like maybe

we should bring those back into this feed, let people know that we are going to, let

people know that we're going to keep doing kind of an Ava rewatch over the next few weeks.

We're still figuring out timing and what episodes to watch for that, but here's two things.

One, this episode you're listening to now will be about the first two episodes. There

are spoilers for those episodes, but not broader spoilers for this show. I'm the only one on

this podcast who had seen Ava before, I believe, and I'm the only one who had at least had

a clear memory of what that show is. I don't get into any spoilers. No one else really

does, except for these two episodes. I think it's probably okay to listen to this ahead

of watching those first two episodes, but I'm also not someone who minds spoilers that

much. So maybe you want to watch those two episodes, then come listen to us. That's

also cool. The second thing I want to say is for next week's waypoints, we're going

to be watching episodes three through seven of Evangelion. I don't know if that's the

pace we're going to keep up in general. If it's going to be four episodes a week, or

if it's going to be more than that or less than that, or trying to figure out kind of good

stopping points. And that's because we know that there are other things in the world we

want to talk about, and waypoints is supposed to give us space to do that. So for now, though,
