Say goodbye to the food police and hello to peace. Welcome to the Love Food podcast, hosted by

0:06.9

dietitian and food behavior expert Julie Duffy Dillon. This authentically engineered series is in

0:13.5

the form of a love letter welcoming you to reconnect with food. Now pour a cup of coffee or a

0:19.9

margarita and let's begin.

Hi and welcome to episode 266 of a love food podcast. I'm Julie Duffy Dillon, registered dietitian, and partner on your

0:42.6

food piece journey. I am so glad you're here. Thank you for connecting today. And what's for

0:49.0

1:35.6

common for most dieticians, like gardening, cooking, anything like that. I mean, it's so unappealing

1:41.2

to me. And so I've always felt odd as a dietitian, but I know I'm not the only one out there that doesn't

1:48.1

enjoy these kind of tasks.

1:50.1

And also, I'm so exhausted by the time the day is over and need to make meals.

1:57.0

So it could be really complicated to have this extra decision, this extra stress, and also trying to repair your own relationship with food while being in charge of modeling food piece.

2:10.2

That's a lot for your shoulders to bear.

2:14.0

And this episode, I got a chance to interview Rachel Goodman, who is a dietitian that specializes in helping people in this space when you're feeling this kind of pain point of helping to take care of other people and also helping your own food peace journey. So she has so much amazing wisdom that I can't wait to share
