in 13 and all of the big Star Wars news and Rebel Force Radio news for that matter.

So, so grateful that you could be with us. Glad to be back with you as we look back on the year and our team is back assemble.

Hey, Jason. Hey, Star Wars fans. Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a safe and successful party celebration on New Year's Eve.

Actually, I'm still enjoying some, not so flat champagne. We should have put the cork back on this thing.

But yeah, it's the party continues here at Rebel Force Radio. We're celebrating the New Year with, as Jason said, a look back at 2013.

Jason, we left off with, I believe we were in approaching summer in last week.

We did. And I'm looking forward to getting back into it because definitely the back half of 2013 had more ups than downs, I think, for Star Wars fans.

I don't know. I think if you're keeping score, for me, it was more downs and ups, but we'll see how it is.

And of course, our referee will be our good buddy, Kyle Newman. Of course, he's the director of the new film, barely lethal, starring Halle Steinfeld, Sam Mace, Windu, L Jackson, Jessica, Alba, and many others.

So welcome back to the show Kyle. And let's pick up where we left off. We're only halfway through the year here.

All right. Let's let's let's keep on chugging. We did get a big gain in May. That was when it was officially announced that there was was a new animated series.

We'd heard rumors of it in the earlier in the year with the official cancellation or winding down of the Clone Wars.

And there would be called rebels, a new animated series in production for a 2014 summer 2014 premiere on Disney Channel.

And then that would set the stage for an actual series run in the fall of 2014 on Disney XD.
