When I finished Army of the Dead, I finished Army and the guys at Netflix were like,

what else you want to do?

And I said, do you want to do another Army movie?

And I was like, yeah, I kind of want to do a sequel to Army, but I have this other idea.

And I don't know if you guys are into it or not, but it's like a big space opera.

And it's kind of like Seven Samurai in Space.

But it was rated r i said it's got to be rated r

in director Zach Snyder's sci-fi drama, Rebel Moon Part 1, A Child of Fire.

The film tells the story of Cora, who crash lands on a moon at the edge of the universe,

and finds new life among peaceful farmers.

But when peace is traded for bloodshed, newly formed revolutionaries must learn to fight together to defend their land, and survive the war on their moon.

In addition to Rebel Moon Part 1, A Child of Fire, Snyder's other directorial credits include the feature films Army of the Dead, Justice League, 300, Sucker Punch, Watchmen, and Dawn of the Dead.

Following a screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, Snyder spoke with director
