Welcome to Rebel FM, episode 559. The area code that I grew up in, I'm Anthony

Guyagas, joined by Arthur Geese. We're still many episodes away from the area

code I grew up in. Oh, so many for me. And I changed. Yeah, I was a 209 and then at one

point my town became 559. I don't know what that means. It means I don't know

if that means we got redistrict or what. I have no idea. Yeah, it's because like the

the area you were in was running out of numbers. Yeah. So they incorporated. Yeah. Yeah.

That was a Davis and Sacramento used to have the same area code and then they changed

them. I think that happened to me in Orange County too. Yeah. Yeah. I still log in the

Safeway with my Davis phone number to this day. Never made a new Safeway number. But Barbara

Wall, you're welcome. The million. She's getting coupons printed out for like vegan stuff

and she's like, what? This is actually like sparked an Ember in my brain that I remember

my childhood phone number. Oh, yeah. 559, 9466. That was me. I'm not to blank all that

out. I know it doesn't exist anymore. It's not my parents to have a different number

of know. Right, but someone else is at that number probably. Well, sure, you could put 559

in anything and there's a number there. So I remember my childhood number in part because

our number was like one number away from the local pizza hut. Nice. And so people would

routinely call us by accident when they meant to call pizza hut. Not nice. Yeah. But

uh, wow, that. That's nice to know. My brain isn't completely dissolved. I guess. Remember

when you used to have to memorize telephone numbers? Crazy. And so many numbers. Oh, yeah.

Now if someone put a gun to my head and said call Arthur, I'd be all. I guess I'll die.
