Hello, so just a few hours after we finished recording this episode, something that we talk

about, which is Microsoft increasing the price of Xbox Live Gold by 100% for annual fees.

Microsoft actually rescinded that decision. They walked it back, it does not happen anymore,

and something that we complained extensively about and complained before. The fact that

free-to-play games were previously locked behind the Xbox Live Gold paywall have now been put

on the outside. Free-to-play games are no longer locked behind Xbox Live Gold. So,

later in this episode, you're going to hear us talk a fair bit about what we think are

pretty shitty practices for Microsoft, and we think that there's still criticism warranted

about the way that they've handled Xbox Live and some other decisions they've made. And

God knows that there's plenty to criticize about the way that they handled all of the

live Gold pricing stuff today. But for the record, the things we talk about with regards

to the Xbox Live Gold price increase, those things have been rolled back that is no longer

happening, and free-to-play games are no longer held behind the Xbox Live Gold paywall.
