That's when it got wheels off. We started hungry. He ain't going to stop. Oh, she made me feel like a good God. That's when it got wheels off. Rebecca Martin has forged a career over the last three decades

by not only being an incredible vocalist with a beautiful voice,

but also as a creative force, as a writer,

and as a advocate for good.

Like her work on behalf of, you know, better water in the Hudson Valley,

where I also live, she and I are neighbors, is remarkable.

And her music, you know, since for over three decades now, is beautiful and

singular and innovative jazz pop. Her band Once Blue, you may be familiar with them. She's got a new

record called She that is an acoustic album,

very stripped down, presenting her vocals and her songs in a way that they never have been

before. So yeah, Rebecca Martin is one of a kind, and I'm so glad that she was willing to sit down with me for a wheels off interview.

We talk a lot about music.

We talk a lot about her advocacy.

We talk about raising our kids.

I try not to talk too much, but you know, every once in a while I get going as well.
