What is a star seed? For as long as I can remember, I've been deeply involved with the meaning

of life, the exploration of consciousness, our place in the universe, and in particular,

the eternal part of us that I call the soul. What is the soul? How does it influence

who we are? Why did we choose to incarnate? Where does the soul go when we die? These

questions and many others like them continue to fascinate and consume me. It was through

living questions such as these that in 2010, I came across a word that would have a significant

impact on my life, bigger than any other prior or since. It was as if it had always been

waiting for me to find it. I was forever changed. That word was star seed.

As I learned more about the concept of star seed, something seemed to come alive within

me. I felt both excitement and a deep sense of calm as I was able to put a name to

something I'd always felt but had lacked the words to explain. It helped me to be more present

to my life and to the unfolding mystery. The first known reference to the word star seed was made

by the US psychologist, Dr. Timothy Leary, who used it to describe a drawing of the remnant

of a living organism, an extraterrestrial, found on a meteorite on earth. But the word
