Summary

Episode 146

In this podcast, New York Times bestselling author and astrologer Chani Nicholas discusses the astrology of the week and what it might mean for us all.

The astrology of the week of October 2nd, 2023, is asking us to go through a major rebalancing in our lives. On Monday, Mercury (the planet of communication) opposes Neptune (the planet of illusion), creating confusion in our exchanges. On Tuesday, Mercury trines Pluto (the planet of power), clearing up the airwaves and allowing us to have meaningful conversations. On Wednesday, Mars (the planet of action) conjoins the South Node (a place where eclipses occur), urging us to let go of something in order to recalibrate. Also on Wednesday, Mercury moves into Libra, continuing the discussion around justice and resetting the scales. On Sunday, Mars squares Pluto, bringing up a subterranean issue in our relationships. Finally, on Sunday, Venus (the planet of love) enters Virgo, encouraging us to search for beauty in details and other unexpected places. In light of Wednesday’s astroweather, set down what you can this week. You can always pick it back up later.

In this episode, we are talking about the week of October 2nd.

0:42.7

This week and next week are going to ask us to go through a major rebalancing in our life.

0:52.5

In some way, shape, or form, something has gotten a little heavy on one

0:58.7

side of the scales or a little too light on the other. And this week and next week, there is a need to

1:06.7

reassess. And there's a need to let go of some things, many things. There is a need to make some

1:16.9

major or minor readjustments. But we know that sometimes it is the most minor of readjustments

1:23.7

that can help us come into balance. It's like we just need to move like a little to the left or a little to the right to be in our center.

1:33.1

And this week's astrology and next week's astrology is reflecting that kind of need for a readjustment.

1:42.3

And it's through releasing something that it's going to happen.

1:46.2

It's through kind of like laying down our sword, laying down our weapons, perhaps,

1:53.9

laying something down that maybe we've held too tightly onto. There is a need to see who we are and what we could make space for

2:05.4

if we let go of one thing or another. And it's going to be really personal, obviously, to each one of

2:12.2

us. So I kind of get annoyed when we talk about letting go because you're like, what does that mean?

2:18.7

Like, how do we actually do that? But then when the time comes, you're like, oh, no, I really do need to let this go or set it down.

2:26.9

And you can kind of think of this time period this week and next week as really important times to just set things down. Like you don't have to let
