Back in February, the results of the world's largest four day week pilot were published.

61 companies from a range of sectors took part, from a brewery to a bank to a fish and chip shop in the sixth month trial.

There are a lot of different models for a four-day week, but at its heart it means giving employees 100% of pay for 80% of the hours.

In exchange for a commitment of 100% productivity.

Each participating company designed a policy that worked for them, whether that was Fridays off or moving to an average of 32 hour weeks across a year.

But why now? The idea of a full day week has become more popular in recent years.
