Welcome in to another edition of Real Tree Rebels. I'm Chase Parmer. Today I'm joined by Ben McDonald.

Ben has tons of baseball credentials.

He was a star pitcher at LSU.

He won the Golden Spikes Award, which is essentially college baseball's Heisman Trophy.

It was the number one overall pick by the Baltimore Orioles.

He won a gold medal with the U.S. Olympic team in 1988. So many different baseball accolades there for Ben. We're going to go over those today. But even more than that, Ben's a great person. He's a great storyteller. He is going to go through a lot of his baseball career. He and I get into a bit of a seamhead conversation just about the state of college baseball right now. There's a lot of stuff coming up on today's show.

I really appreciate Ben's time.

He's now a TV analyst for the Baltimore Orioles, so he was getting ready for a series

against the Washington Nationals here as Baltimore is in the playoffs.

They're trying to win the ALE East.

They're trying to have the best record in the
