0:18.3	And today we're going to talk with Rob Evans, who's the Ole Miss basketball coach from 1992 to 1998,
0:24.5	and he is back this weekend for the return to Tadsmith Coliseum.
0:28.7	The Rebels faced Sam Houston State at 8 o'clock on Friday night at Tatsmith Coliseum,
0:34.0	the first time since the pavilion opened in 2016.
0:38.0	So it should be a really fun weekend, fun night of basketball for the Rebels and Sam Houston

0:43.4	And Rob Evans in town for that, they're honoring him as he was the coach, the architect of that
0:49.8	area of Ole Miss basketball, building it into prominence.
0:52.7	He went back-to-back SEC titles.
0:54.9	Took Ole Miss to back-to-back NCAA tournament games as well
0:58.5	and signed a lot of the notable figures from that era of Ole Miss basketball.
1:03.7	So I sat down with Rob at Tadsmith Coliseum and his old office,
1:08.0	and we talked a lot about his background, his growing up, his path to Ole Miss,
1:13.4	and then what all went into signing Ansu Sisei and Keith Carter and the names that you know
1:17.9	and love from Ole Miss Basketball.
1:19.6	So great conversation with Rob.

1:22.6	Again, he is in Oxford this weekend.
1:24.7	He's currently an assistant to the president in the AD at SMU, working again with Gerald Turner,
1:31.9	who hired him as basketball coach here.
1:35.8	Turner was the chancellor at Ole Miss during that period of time.
