Welcome into this week's Real Tree Rebels. I'm Chase Parm. We're going to sit down with Gray Kessinger,

0:19.5

Houston Astero, three-year starter at shortstop for Ole Miss prior to his professional career. Gray was a Brooks Wallace Award winner given annually to the top college shortstop in the country. He had a minor league career that spanned a few years and was called up by the Astros this June. He got his first hit on July 4th and was part of the Astros playoff run. They met at the ALCS for the seventh consecutive year. They've had a world championship. They've had World Series mixed in there as well. But they went to the ALCS just year. So we're going to talk about some of the key moments from his season. We're going to talk a lot about his career, the things he's seen making the jump from minor league baseball to major league baseball. We'll have some Ole Miss topics in there also. So it's a great time to talk to Gray. I really appreciate his time here today as he gets ready for what is hopefully a full season. Wish the Astros next year. He's back in Oxford right now for the offseason. Kessinger family also very important to me.
