We explore ways to realize and open to our deepest desires when we are stuck in self-promotion, grasping and conflict, so that our aspiration becomes a compass of the heart that can guide us in living with wisdom and compassion.

0:33.2	It's about a king and his wife entering into old age and they didn't have a child.
0:43.0	They were trying to attune to who's going to really take over the kingdom, who's going

0:48.6	At a very wise counselor they were consulting with.
0:52.2	The wise counselor who is also a egalitarian minded person said, let's just open it to all.

1:02.9	They're kind of like a contemporary nonprofit.
1:06.3	They're going to invite everybody to the kingdom and do interviews.
1:11.5	What they did was they were going to have interviews in the royal chambers but in order
1:16.2	for it to be really fair, they wanted first for each person to be able to present themselves
1:23.0	without an unfair advantage.
1:25.9	They opened up the royal chambers and the royal closets and people had a choice of whatever
1:32.2	they wanted to wear.
1:33.6	They had a banquet available so those that were waiting for their interview would be
1:37.5	able to eat well.
1:39.2	They had music and entertainment and fancy soaps and it was a very, very gracious kind
1:47.0	of an invitation for all.
