Brace to defend his selection policy as if you were Claudia Raniere in his Tinker Man days is the one and only Liam Toomey.

I'm afraid we got to start today by talking about the West Ham game this past weekend.

So Frank Lampard wasn't thrilled with his team's performance in both boxes in Europe.

That was an even bigger issue back in the Premier League as the Blues endured a coupon busting defeat to the hammers.

This one will really have stuck in the crore of Lampard as anyone who read

Simon and Liam's joint piece on his West Ham woes will understand.

Liam, you were there. Was this the worst performance of the season from Chelsea?

I think it was the worst attacking performance, particularly the second half.

Actually, looking back over the highlights, Chelsea created some pretty good dangerous moments in the first half.

I thought Christian Poulosik in particular was very, very good, continuing on from his recent form.
