Summary

Ever wonder why sin makes God sad? Or why you feel stuck, distant from Him? What really happens when we don't repent? And what incredible things are unlocked when we do? We're diving into a raw, honest conversation about sin, not meant to condemn, but to liberate. Preston breaks down the crucial difference between 'doing bad' and 'being bad,' and why real-time repentance is essential for every believer. From personal struggles to biblical truths – we’re shattering the common misconceptions and revealing the true heart of repentance – and why repentance is giving God one of His favorite things. In this episode, you'll learn: * The true definition of repentance (it's not what you think!) * Why sin grieves God's heart, and how it impacts your relationship with Him. * The two categories of sin (and why you need to know them). * The devastating consequences of unrepented sin. * The life-changing power of confession, forgiveness, and turning away from sin. * How to "burn it up" and walk in a new direction.
