In this episode, she talks about the real postpartum experience that doesn’t get glamorized on social media. From the emotional weight of early motherhood to the identity shifts that catch so many women off guard, Stef shares what she wishes more women knew. We also dive into rebuilding your relationship with movement, pelvic floor recovery, and how to approach exercise in a way that actually supports your body. Stef also shares how she handles the stress of motherhood by simplifying her days, protecting her peace, and letting go of perfection.

Beyond wellness and workouts, Stef opens up about family life, and what “balance” really looks like in this season of motherhood. Whether you’re in the thick of postpartum or just planning ahead, this episode is packed with grounded advice, gentle reminders, and validation for every stage of the journey I hope you love this episode! xo

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Wellness Her Way. Today we are with Steph Bear. You guys,

0:42.1

she came on the show. You loved her. It was one of our highest performing episodes. So that's crazy to me.

0:46.8

Of course we had to have her back on. I was so excited when I saw that. I'm like, why am I not surprised?

0:51.4

She is a children's book author, Sourdough Master, wife to Nick Bear,

0:56.9

and mother to two of the cutest kids I have ever seen you guys. I was just telling her this.

1:01.3

Probably the only two kids that have given Joey and I baby fever, Charlie and Nico. They are

1:07.3

adorable. That's an honor. Yeah. Jovey said that, I was like, okay, that's the biggest

1:11.5

compliment I've ever been given. I won't think it. We're their biggest fans. We're like, oh my gosh, look at this picture of Charlie. But you guys, since last time we chatted with Steph, she had only had Charlie. So now you've moved. You're in Austin now. Back in Austin. And now you're a mom of two. So give us, give us the updates. How's living in Austin? How is it being a mother of two?

1:29.8

Yeah. So when I spoke with you, we were living in now. Back in Austin. And now you're a mom of two. So give us, give us the updates. How's living in

1:28.1

Austin? How is it being a mother of two? Yeah. So when I spoke with you, we were living in Nashville. That was a short little stent. It was business related. We kind of jumped the gun a little bit. We had to come back here for business reasons, which is fine. That's all out there. It feels good to be back. It's very easy to come back to a place that you've already lived.

1:45.3

So it was like same hair people, same friends, same nail bean. It was easy. We literally living in

1:50.3

the same exact neighborhood. So exhausting for sure because we found out we were moving back here

1:55.9

when I was probably like three months pregnant with my second, which is Nico now. And he's going to be

2:00.0

one in August.

2:51.2

I can't believe that. I know. I know. It was kind of a whirlwind. So we moved back here. I found a house to be like, but it wasn't going to be ready right away. So we were in a rental. So there is so much, like, uncomfortableness for me because I'm a planner. I like roll over everything. and here I am about to have my second baby switching OBs halfway through in a temporary home. So I didn't have a nursery. Like for the first like five months of me, I was like in a nursery, which is so unlike me. But it was a really big growing period for me. So everything's good. All the kids are good. We're happy to be here. It's good to be back in person at BPN and see my husband thrive in that. So exhausting, but good. Yeah, it's definitely, it seems like it's been a little bit of a transition because I remember when we were chatting, you're like, I don't know how I feel about this move. Yeah. But from what I've seen on social, I'm just like keeping in touch with you, I feel like you guys have made the most of it.
