Hey, moms. This is Dorenda Wilson. Welcome to the podcast. I am really grateful that you're here today. And if you're a new listener, you might not know me. So real

quickly, I'm married to Daryl and we've been married for almost 30 years. We've got eight kids,

28 down to 14, five boys, three girls, and six grandkids. But one of my favorite things to do is

to encourage moms. And often I will try to tackle a topic that is particularly difficult because I think it's just

important for us to go head to head toe to toe with some of those things in life that can be

a little frightening.

And today is one of those days.

I'm going to be tackling the very difficult

topic of pornography but I am not doing it alone our almost 19 year old son Sam is here with me

to share his story in hopes that it will be an encouragement to you so you might want to hit the pause button and grab your kids, maybe your preteen,

teen kids, and listen as we walk through this podcast.

And I say kids as opposed to just boys because although the pornography problem tends to be

linked to boys and they tend to have more

of a problem than girls, there are many girls who are struggling with it now as well.

And I think a lot of that has to do with the internet and our immediate access to things like this.

But there are, you know, topics. It seems like that the church seems to avoid. And

this is probably at the top of the list. But it's becoming increasingly rampant in the church,

which I find interesting because to me that is just evidence of the enemy really trying to get a

foothold and by talking about it and tackling it through the truths of scripture and our walk

with the Lord. I think we're going to have some serious, some serious victory, honestly. So I want to share a few statistics with you.

I was kind of going through the internet and went to some study groups that I know are reliable.
