Summary

Let's face it: These are challenging times. And after a week at the recent Hershey RV Show in Pennsylvania, where we talked with hundreds of real RVers, there are some real RV worries for 2023 clouding the future for many. Not that any are willing to toss in the towel. To a person, everyone we talked to planned to do their best and Keep Calm and Camp ON - as the silly T-shirt says. But unlike many so-called RV industry leaders, who always spin a rosy future, real RVers are realistic and candid about all the challenges they see ahead over the next 12 years in this post-COVID world, where a variety of issues are complicating their RV travel and camping plans.

0:05.0	And this week we talk what real RVers think is going to happen in the next 12 months. Hello everybody. I'm Mike Welland, and this is my lifelong traveling companion and my bride, Jennifer, and we are indeed traveling, and we are traveling in our brand new,
0:36.7	2023 leisure travel vans.
0:39.8	Unity FX.
0:41.3	Unity FX model.
0:43.3	And it's kind of like a homecoming to us because we were in this very model four years ago.
0:49.6	This was what we came back with a little over four years ago.
0:53.6	And we liked it. we kept it for two years
0:56.5	we tend to turn our RVs quickly so we can have experience with lots of different models
1:02.4	and we wanted to try the Ford Transit chassis because that was just really taking off about
1:08.9	about two years ago so we had our our, this is Ralph Vance Wonder,
1:13.6	and we sold that and we had ordered this.
1:16.6	We didn't announce at the time.
1:17.6	We ordered this about 17 months ago.
1:19.6	And we got it even a little earlier than some people
1:22.6	because it's like a two to three year wait,
1:24.6	depending on how you have it equipped.
1:26.6	But we got it
1:28.1	because we are the transportation company we transported it from the Hershey
1:35.7	RV show which just ended we spent a week there and this was one of the
1:42.0	models the display models.
1:47.7	And therein we learned something very valuable.
