I'm John McKenzie and I'm joined as I always am by my good friend and producer Mike Zillam and Mike, how you doing?

Doing good. We're actually in studio, John.

We are in the same place rather than being many, many thousands of miles apart, which is,

which is very nice. And we've just wrapped up a conversation with two very special guests on the

topic of Real Madrid. Mike, you listened into that conversation. What did you make about it?

Well, Raym Madrid, I think our generation knows them as the Galactica Ozara spending all this

money on top players, the best in the world,

Ballandoor winners.

And now recently we've seen them change their strategy and their recruitment and still

spending a decent amount of money, but spending them on younger players.

And as Dermott Corrigan said in this interview, they're buying players who they hope in three or four years become

Ballandor winners and not getting them at their peak.

Yes, and one of those players is Jude Bellingham, who has been impressing everyone.

He is part of a brand new strategy that Real Madrid have rolled out this season, and we talk

about that as well.

But as always, I think the best thing for us to do is to just get straight into the conversation.

So this is Rail Madrid and the next chapter in their history.

So Rail Madrid inevitably attract attention because there is simply no club in world football quite like them.

In the early 2000s, they embarked on a program of introducing Galacticos to the team in a bid to dominate the European scene,

and that is precisely what they did, winning six Champions League in the intervening period.
