I’m going to say something that might ruffle a few feathers: Black Economists Matter.
My guest today, a black economist herself, is going to explain why.
Anna Gifty is an emerging researcher, entrepreneur, speaker, and writer from Ghana and Maryland. She is one of the co-founders of The Sadie Collective, the only non-profit organization addressing the pipeline and pathway problem for Black women in economics, finance, and policy.
My interview with Anna is POWERFUL, my friend.
In this conversation, we talk about creating community, carving a place for yourself in a society (even if doors might have been closed to you or the people in the room look nothing like you), and Anna teaches us REAL lessons in diversity, inclusion, and representation.
