It's been 50 years since Title IX was passed in 1972, which completely changed the game. Pun intended.

Okay, you can put me on the bench for that joke, but it is hard to argue that Title IX did anything less than revolutionize women's sports and dramatically expand

opportunity for female athletes. Yet in 2022, women still aren't paid the same as their male

counterparts in professional sports. This, of course, reflects an even bigger issue in our society.
