This week, the president and speaker Mike Johnson are headed to Europe.

The president is set to speak at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday.

And tomorrow, the speaker will

address British Parliament to commemorate 250 years of America's independence. Normally, this

would be a very warm week of diplomacy between the United States and our closest allies in Europe,

but this is not a normal administration. It is clear that Donald Trump's ambitions to somehow acquire Greenland

are very serious. And those ambitions have put our relationship with Europe on thin ice.

The president told NBC News that he will 100% follow through on his threats to impose new

tariffs on goods from European countries that oppose his push for Greenland,

when asked if he would use military force, his response? No comment. And it seems that this

could all be connected to the president's obsession, if you guessed it, winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

The president sent Norway's prime minister a message last night

saying he is no longer obligated to think purely of peace because he didn't win the award.

He also said the world is not secure unless the U.S. has total control of Greenland.
