Hey everybody, it's another edition of On One with Angela Rye.

This conversation was amazing with two black women who I couldn't just admire more.

Alicia Garza, who's the co-creator of Black Lives Matter and the founder of Black Futures

Lab and my dear sister friend and the amazing Dr. Angela Davis, who you all have heard

me talk about so much.

Of course I'm named after her.

To be able to share this face with both of them in the same conversation on Dr. Martin Luther

King's holiday, I just couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate the day.

We talk about so much from justice and equity to what the dream should look like as we

continue to advance as a people.

What this new administration might mean for us and how we can best hold them accountable

to really, truly see the promised land Dr. King's so eloquently talked about.

It was my pleasure to share space to moderate this conversation and I didn't want to be selfish

and hog it all to myself.

So today I'm sharing it with you.
