We live right here in the middle of Hollywood, we're in LA, the entertainment

capital of the world, and our church is full of people in the industry. You cannot

know how many friends I know who work on movies who email me ahead of time

ask me to help them get the word out and to use my platform to help promote a movie

and you cannot know how many bad movies I've saved you from and that I did not

promote even though it cost me relationally and and because I have a lot of good

friends who make bad movies and and then I have a lot of good friends who make bad movies and then I have and then they just think anything that says Jesus and it I'm going to be behind and and frankly it kind of all started with Mel Gibson, you know with the passion of the Christ because he actually made a brilliantly beautiful film that's really hard to watch.

And that was an easy one for me because it was, I don't know if you're ever going to be around anything as visceral as that.

But then we just have an onslaught of just horrible movies around the Bible.

And it's just always so frustrating. Wow. And okay that wasn't in my

head. Okay. So what I'm about to say, no one sent me an email, it's unsolicited. No one asked me for my

endorsement, this is just me.

I went and saw Black Panther this week.
