Alistair Cook is retiring from international cricket.

Well, I feel like Jimmy should probably know that's the obvious thing to get you all

take as a fan of Alistair Cook.

What can I say from a fan's perspective?

I think it was strangely sad actually.

We all knew that Alistair Cook was going to retire sometime, but as we were talking before

the show, there were some people that watched cricket that would have never known English

cricket before Alistair Cook played it.

And you do get this sense of time passing and how much time we spent our lives watching

Alistair Cook stubbornly like bad outtestingings, especially given it's only ever had two or

three shots.
