One of the things that Mike said I want to address quickly, and I'm not trying to jump on Mike, but I want everybody to not think this way.

The thoughts you allow to have in your head, this is one of the things I want you to really work on.

The thoughts you put into your head will determine what you do.

Chris Serino has a great way of putting it. He says the body will not go

where the mind has not already gone.

His point is if you haven't thought about what you're going to do then you're not going to go there.

If you think this thought, and Mike expressed it, well if you're lucky the display of a gun will stop the situation.

Don't ever think that.

Don't ever entertain that idea.

Because here's what that idea puts into your head. I will show the gun and then

see what happens. We just finished our first-person defender series a second season.

It's funny, I was just making this comment to Ryan.

One of the things I got out of that, after watching all this develop and watching people shoot and all and

get into these situations is how often people when they knew that was an assault coming,

they knew this was an assault. That's why they're there. They know they're going to

have to get into a fight of some sort.

They pull a gun and stop. Somebody's actually pointing a gun at them. They pull a gun and stop and then yell at command.

Really? Somebody's got a gun pointed at you

or is assaulting your child and you pull a gun and then you issue a command?

We need to get the thinking right here people.

First of all you don't pull your gun until there is clear reason to shoot.
