Meet Today’s Teacher:

R.C. Sproul (1939–2017) was known for his ability to winsomely and clearly communicate deep, practical truths from God’s Word. He was founder of Ligonier Ministries, first minister of preaching and teaching at Saint Andrew’s Chapel, first president of Reformation Bible College, and executive editor of Tabletalk magazine.

Nathan W. Bingham is vice president of ministry engagement for Ligonier Ministries, executive producer and host of Renewing Your Mind, host of the Ask Ligonier podcast, and a graduate of Presbyterian Theological College in Melbourne, Australia. Nathan joined Ligonier in 2012 and lives in Central Florida with his wife and four children.

0:07.1	real flesh, real blood. And we need to be reminded of, even as the scriptures itself remind us
0:12.3	from time to time, as St. James does in his epistles when he exhorts the people of God to pray.
0:17.7	He reminds them of the effectiveness of the prayers of Elijah. And he said,
0:22.9	remember that Elijah was a man like unto you. His passions were just like your passions. His heartaches
0:30.8	were just like your heart. But it's so easy for us to so romanticize the heroes and the personages of Scripture that we forget that they

0:56.0	real women. I'm sure you could hear the passion in Arcey Sprole's voice in the preview of today's
