I just got a pretty brutal email.

They called me a charlatan.

They said my business is a scam.

They mocked my faith.

And they even brought my kids into it.

Now, while this kind of thing used to shake me, it doesn't anymore.

And so in today's episode, I want to show you exactly what hate mail looks like. Yes,

we're going to read it, why it happens and how to respond. Not with hate, but with wisdom.

The email subject line is inquiry. I think you spell it with an I. I'm not really sure.

Hi. Isn't it a coincidence that the religion of where you grew up is the one true religion and all the others are wrong?

Your business is scummy, screams charlatan, and I genuinely feel sorry for your children.

I hope one day soon they grow up to value logic, reason, and critical thinking.

We're going to break this down a little bit here. Just a little, well, we'll get into it. We'll get into it. I got so much I want to say. Let's unpack this email for a moment and what's behind it. And then I want to address you, if you've ever gotten hate mail, what's happening, why it's happening, and how to respond to it. So there are three things that I see in

this message, big picture, that are very common with hate mail. This is not the first,

it will not be the last. I'm getting hate mail for over 15 years. But there is a pattern that I
