And today, today, we've been chatting about these things. We were like,

we should probably just make this a podcast episode because we haven't stopped yapping about it.

Facts. So, Reggie, do you want to explain what we're doing today? Yeah, we're going to be chatting

about book to movie adaptations that are coming soon and just kind of like our thoughts. And if we're excited about them or not, not all these are ones that we've read. But now we're, you know, putting it, moving it up the TV are because they're, you know, you got to read the book before you see the show.

Mm-hmm.

But first, we kind of want to share a little bit about what makes a book-to-movie adaptation a good book-to-movie adaptation.

What would you guys say?

Anything that comes to your brain first?

Mm-hmm.

You know, the thing is, is I feel like sometimes it can be difficult to have a good book to movie adaptation because everyone pictures things so differently. I would just say, like,

whatever the author describes, you know, keeping pretty similar to that

because you know at least the author had something she wanted or he or she wanted in your mind

when describing something. So I don't know. Really paying attention to kind of like the details and

making sure those aren't like cut out or removed because I think sometimes as readers we love the small

details. Yeah, it makes you appreciate it more. Yeah. I don't know. I feel like that's the first thing

that comes to my brain. My first thought was like the production company. like who's putting it on? Because sometimes when things get picked up by certain places,

I'm like, oh, all right, this will be interesting. You know what I mean? But it feels a little more,

like sometimes I have a lot more higher hopes for things depending on who is creating the adaptation.

So, yeah.

Also, I feel like the cast kind of plays like a part in it because, you know, if it's like too big of a name of a celebrity or like actor-actress, it's like, it's either like, oh, this is going to be good,

or you're like, oh, you know?
