Welcome to the Conversations, That Matter Podcast. I'm your host John Harris. I just

got off a broadcast with Joel Webbin and we talked about this issue of the National School shooting, the reactions to it, the moment we're in,

and I wanted to share some thoughts with you that I was thinking during that interview but also

things that I was thinking earlier this morning that I think need to be

shared. We need to have a discussion about the framing of this, how we discuss this the way that Christians on the more left

side of the aisle are posturing themselves right now on the issue of guns and

transgenderism and we need to strategize a little bit I think.

How are we supposed to as Christians react to this? And there's probably several reactions depending on the circumstances

we find ourselves in but I am blown away by some of the capitulation I'm seeing

out there and I'm going to share some of that with you.

Hopefully end on a good note though because I want to share with you an example of someone who I think did a very good job

with this on this at least the issue of guns. So we're going to start, let's see, I have so many stories to share with you. It's incredible how many stories. I don't know if we'll get to all of them. So we're going to start with a few

mainstream left-leaning news stories and how this whole thing's being framed. And you can you tell me if you think that these stories

reflect the way that the mainstream media responds when the shooters, the

shooting and the victims and the shooter are different identities.

So here, let's see if I can make this better.
