I'm Ryan Mink here at Garrett Downing following the Ravens 32 to 14 loss to the

Cincinnati Bengals here on Thanksgiving night. Tough game for the Ravens, five

turnovers on offense. That was the story of the game.

This offense continues to struggle and today felt like the bottom, perhaps.

Let's hope.

Because it was a rough day.

It's the first time the Ravens have committed five turnovers in a game since 2013.

They hadn't turned the ball over five times in in a game since 2013.

They hadn't turned the ball over five times in a home game in 18 years since 2007.

So not the kind of records that you want to be set in here.

Not at all.

I think that when you come into this game and the Ravens were favorites coming into this game, the Bengals defense had been heavily scrutinized and was at the bottom of league in most

statistical categories. And so how do you, how do you, what's the recipe to losing and not

having the kind of offense is showing that you expect to? Well, you turn the ball over. And when you turn the ball over five times, you're going to lose, you know, I don't know what the exact numbers are on that, but like you're going to lose the majority of your games, okay? And that's, you're going to lose nine, nine, nine, ten. But you'd be hard pressed to fight a team that won a game after turning the ball over five times. five times. It's like that's just not how you're going to win games when you turn the ball over that much. And the frustrating thing about it really for the Ravens is like the majority of those turnovers were self-inflicted in the way that it wasn't like, hey man, he made a great play on that ball. Man, that was just something that, incredible intercepts, you got to tip your cap.

It was things that, like, I mean, one of them just slipped out of Lamar's hands.

Another one, Isaiah likely is going in for the touchdown

and reaches out when he doesn't need to and gets the ball strips.

Like, those types of plays are self-inflicted in a way that you say, man, that, like, you're making life really hard on yourself as a team, as in an offense when you do those kinds of things.

Yeah, absolutely.

And the first half was really just a comedy of errors for the Ravens offensively beyond the turnovers extended beyond that

I mean Lamar Jackson fumbled while getting sack gave the ball the Bengals the ball the two-yard
