Welcome into Lounge presented by Draft Kings. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing,

and we are here to break down the Ravens 26 to 23 loss to Las Vegas Raiders at the home

opener at M&T Bank Stadium. Definitely a disappointing loss for the Ravens. They fall at 0 and 2 for the first time since

2015. In a game that certainly none of us expected the Ravens or thought that the Ravens

are going to lose, especially when they had a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Yeah, I mean, this was a game where the Ravens were heavy favorites coming into the game.

And then when you, you know, it's back and forth kind of a low scoring affair in that first half. And then all of a sudden the Ravens seem like they put it together early. They

marched down the field on the opening drive of that second half. And then they get another

touchdown with Derek Henry late. And you're like, okay, okay. There's a little scare there,

but the offense figured it out. And you're going to go into this game. you're going to go into next week one-on-one and feeling pretty good about the team. Exactly. And, you know, the storyline at that point, you feel like is the running game gets it

going, wears them down in the second half. Like, that's the thought. That's the thought at that time.

I mean, I had the lead to my story written. It was, you know, the Ravens brought Derek Henry to

Baltimore to be the finisher. And he finished off the Raiders who were pesky throughout much of the game, but they leaned on him in the second half, finished him off.

Yep.

And it felt like it was going that way.

And the Ravens, again, they had this 10-point lead.

And then it was basically a variety of airs on both sides of the ball.

You know, the offense wasn't able to extend drives to run the clock and then keep the

Raiders off the field.

And the defense wasn't able to get a critical stop in those big moments when they needed

to do it.

And the Raiders moved out, move the ball in the fourth quarter.
