It is Clemson cornerback, Nate Wiggins, at pick number 30.

He is your newest Baltimore Raven.

and we're going to give you our take and

analysis of this pick. And Garrett, this was a pure, this is a pure cover corner. The Ravens got a

fleet footed, sticky cornerback. Position of need. Check that box. Eric DeCazza said it was one of his

top 20 players. Check that box.

There's a lot to like about Nate Wiggins.

Yeah, totally.

I mean, the Ravens are fired up about this.

They feel like you get a guy at the end of the first round who can come in and impact your

defense immediately.

And we'll talk about what that could look like.

And also you get a guy who's a cover corner, potential shutdown cornerback at the back of the first round,

cornerback is a premium position. The Ravens are going to try to restock that position. It was

a position of need, not necessarily a massive need in the short term, but I think when you look

long term it is. Also, I also think this is a case of best player available. The Ravens feel like they got a

player very high on their board, a top 20 player at least for them at number 30, at a position

of need. It just made too much sense for them, despite getting a ton of calls to trade back.

They didn't want to trade away from him.
