Welcome into the lounge presented by Draft Kings. We have the bonus episode today reacting to the big news of the four-year contract extension with Justin Matabike. This is a great way to kick off free agency for the Ravens.

Yeah, I mean, this is a huge move.

And, you know, truth be told, we did our free agency primer podcast.

And, you know, I don't think that either of us really saw this one coming.

It just, I think we saw it coming potentially, but not coming Friday night.

You know, I think coming eventually.

Eventually.

We didn't expect eventually to be a few hours after we taped that podcast.

But it's great news.

I mean, the Ravens get one of the best defensive players in the game under contract.

He's a cornerstone piece of this team.

Eric Takasta said that in his statement when the team announced the move.

And so I think that this is just really exciting for the Ravens.

This is just an awesome way to kick off free agency.

And getting a deal done, you know, gives them flexibility.

I think it's a win on every single level.

And I'm sure DeCost is fired up.

Matt Abakey is fired up.

And I know Ravens fans are as well.

For sure.

So this is a reported for-year $98 million deal, which actually is kind of, on an average per year basis,

I think that this isn't as high as some people expected it to be.
