The Ravens have a new defensive coordinator.

Zachary Orr has been hired in a quick move by John Harbaugh to replace the departing Mike

McDonald who's becoming the Seattle Seahawks head coach.

A lot to break down here, Garrett.

Big news on the Ravens front and John Harvall didn't waste any time.

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this is, you know, the season's, you know, just barely over.

And I think a lot of people felt really all year long that there was a very real potential that Mike McDonnell could leave.

And he is a hot, up-and-coming coach. He gets a reported

six-year deal in Seattle. And so I think there's disappointment to lose him. I mean, he's a great

coordinator. The Ravens had the best defense in the NFL this year, and he was a huge reason for

that. But at the same time, you're happy for him to get that opportunity, and he's going to get

a chance to be a head coach, and what a rise for him from where he was, looked back five years ago.

He was really on nobody's head coaching radar at that point.

And here he is with a long-term deal as the Seattle Seahawks head coach.

So credit to Mike.

And then, yeah, I mean, fired up about Zach Gore, no doubt about that.

Yeah, I mean, first, yeah, let's, I'll say my piece about Mike here is Mike in his two years,

really, and John Harbaugh is part of this process of crafting the scheme. But Mike was awesome.

Players love them, great communicator, great play caller, great schemer. I think

the versatility that he built into the Ravens defense or helped build certainly was a chief

part of that. And just allowing different guys to get their shots, you heard that from players
