Welcome into Lounge presented by Draft Kings. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing, following the Ravens

27 to 19 win over the Minnesota Vikings here at US Bank Stadium. It's a big win that moves the Ravens to 4 and 5.

They've won three straight and things have turned around quickly. It wasn't too long ago when the Ravens were sitting at one in five and it is a very different story for this team right now. This team call was in an early hole this season and they felt like they had to call their way out of it. And there's still more work to be done. That was definitely a sentiment in talking with the players and coaches after this win. But I think that they have done the heavy lifting

in climbing their way out of the hole. And to be honest, like this was the game to me that felt

like, I said it coming into it, kind of felt like a linchpin game coming into this one,

because coming off the by, they played the bears, then they played the dolphins. And those were

two games, especially getting Lamar Jackson back in Miami, that you felt like, just on paper, the Ravens were in position to win.

But here, tougher environment, a team that had just got their quarterback back on the field and J.J. McCarthy had just beaten the Detroit Lions.

They were getting hot on the Minnesota side.

And so to come here. Beyond team is beyond that. Great receivers, good defense, aggressive defense. I mean, good team. Very good. They're a good team. They're well coached. They have a lot of playmakers on both sides of the ball. Like, this is a good team. And so to come in here and win in this environment, I think puts the Ravens in good position down the stretcher.

Now they have to go and do it, but I think it puts them in really good position. Yeah, I think it's safe to say the Ravens have officially turned this season around. That's what this win does for me. You know, it's kind of a question coming out of Miami, all right, are we all the way back? We back? The Ravens are back. and when you win three straight and this is their best win of the season,

quite frankly, this is their

best win of the season, quite frankly. This is a very good team, like we said, in a hostile environment. And to pull this one off with now the Browns and the Jets up next, the Ravens are in good, you got to go win those games. They're not going to be handed to you, and I like the, to your point, the Ravens mentality.

You know,

they're not,

they're not setting off,

uh,

of fireworks here in,

in the post-game locker room.

There was no champagne bucket in the locker room.

Yeah, but they also know that this was a big win for them.

And to be able to get to six and five, if you're able to get the next two wins going into the Thanksgiving night against the Cincinnati Bengals and a stretch of three straight AFC North games. Like this sets them up well for going on an extended run. You mentioned the attitude after the game. And that was kind of striking to me because we're sitting here saying like, hey, Ravens are back. They've turned a corner. I talked to Lamar Jackson on the field right after the game and about the significance of this win and how big it was. And right away, he was like, yeah, it's nice, it's good. I'm glad we won, but there's a lot more to do. Like there's nothing. We need to stay locked in. And I think he sets the tone on that in a lot. He sets the tone in pretty much every regard. But his attitude of let's not think that we're too hot here coming off of these three straight wins.
