It is the off season and it is May.

We're almost through half of May at this point. But I'm joined by David Carr. David, I'm so excited you're here.

Obviously, I've been covering you since you got to Iowa State, but I'm so excited to have you in our

studio. Thank you for joining.

Yeah, this is dope.

We definitely gotta get some more wrestling stuff up,

but this is a pretty sweet studio.

We'll definitely get some stuff up.

We're looking at changing up some of the gurgies we have up on the wall. So you come at a perfect time.

Perfect. Well, I mean, it's been kind of an exciting off season other than obviously your injury that you shared earlier going into team trials that you unfortunately did get injured.

How are you doing with your injury?

Yeah, doing good.

Still like slow progress or process.

I'm kind of, like I had to take all my graduation pictures

with a boot on it and stuff. It's like, oh my gosh, this sucks. So I'm

waiting to do, I really want to do like something cool without having to wear a boot or

being grudges and stuff. So that's why I've been kind of waiting on that. But other than that,

everything's been nice. It's been fun. I think my body kind of needed a little break. I usually don't take as long as breaks and things like that.

So this is the longest break I've probably taken a long time.
