Darryl Daprich, the man boots on the ground up in Birmingham for SEC Media Days

Basketball edition.

Auburn wrapped everything up this morning.

Of course, they've got an exhibition game tonight, which we will be live from,

which is very exciting.

But Darrell, overall takeaway from Stephen Pearl representing Auburn as the head coach,

not BP.

Well, it's always great to cover somebody's first, you know, SEC media days like

that. And it's, it was a really, really, I could tell that he was very excited about being there and the

enthusiasm. Other people have seen, had the opportunity to see him speak. And I think he's very

polished and I really like the way he presents himself.

A couple of takeaways.

You know, he talked about his staff.

What a big part his staff had in retaining that roster.

He felt like retaining that roster and that it's rare that a new coach,

regardless if they take over for a coach that's family and is on the staff,

keeps all 12 players.

That's a big deal.
