Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the great tragedy at hand is forever more for a younger generation.

The name will not be affiliated with greatness and human rights, decency, courage, and love,

but rather trump conspiracy theories and outright nuttery.

This is the warning.

The tragedy of this moment is that our present is consuming our past, and that includes science and the reality that within the last 80 years, fantastic advances have been made that have saved countless

lives from misery and suffering. And the man who has just been appointed by Donald Trump

to be the steward of the American health care system, as secretary of health and human services,

with broad legal jurisdiction over a gargantuan portion of the American economy,

doesn't believe in science, doesn't believe in data.

He is a superstitious man, a drug addict who has been rendered mentally

addled by it, a preposterous pick, joining other preposterous picks as a direct threat to the health,

the safety, the security, the liberty, and the privacy of the American people.

These five picks are a quintuplet of unfitness, a paragon of crazy nominated to some of the highest and most important offices in the land. This claim to the

office of Secretary of Defense. This nutter to be the director of national intelligence. This sadist

to be the director of homeland security. This credibly accused cocaine user, a man who some

refer to as Pensacola Prince Andrew, to be Attorney General. And now this man, the heroin

addict, turned conspiracy theorist, turned cabinet secretary. This moment is less about

the insanity that Trump has put forward as a test, as a threat, as a proposition, and as an

assertion. What Donald Trump is saying to the MAGA Senate is, I dare you to stop me. And I'm making it clear from the beginning that there are no limits at all, that you are to obey. Without question, Donald Trump rejects the separation of powers. He rejects the checks and balances. The question at hand is,

does the rubber stamp mega Senate reject their co-equal status in the United States government

so that they may be in good stead with Donald Trump. And they may play their

rightful part in the adulation and the reverence that flows like water from the Mar-a-Lago patio
