Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider presented by Fandul Matthew Collar here,

and I had to fire up the live machine following the collapse of the Green Bay Packers.

They go from up 21 to 3 to losing to the Chicago Bears

in the wild card round of the playoffs. And which side of this should we start on? The side of

the Packers falling apart or the side of the Chicago Bears showing exactly what they

have in Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. We can begin with the Packers falling apart in this game.

So they get up 21 to 3 and Caleb Williams is struggling. His accuracy is off. Ben Johnson is clearly tweaking out a little bit,

going for fourth downs that even I don't think on Matt and I would quite go for early in the game.

And you could see they were kind of panicking. This is Caleb Williams first playoff game. It's

Ben Johnson's first as a head coach. And it just felt like,

okay, well, the team that's been here before, the head coach that's been here before, the quarterback

that's won a playoff game before, they all are so much more calm in this environment and ready to

go. But the second half of this game is exactly why the Green Bay Packers may fire Matt LaFleur.

And whenever I've had Packers guests on, they always kind of talk the same way about LaFleur.

Like, yeah, he's a pretty good coach and he's gotten a lot out of his quarterbacks.

But man, when push comes to shove and some of these

playoff games, this guy just comes apart. And that is exactly what happened in the second half of this

game. They're throwing a pass to an offensive lineman, which I know didn't really hurt them that

much, but still bizarre stuff. They're having their starting running back,

return kicks. They could not run the football. They couldn't get their short passing game going.

And at the end of the game, when they had a chance to take a six point lead, although it would

have been better to score a touchdown, they moved down the field into field goal position.
